No Investigator-Client Relationship
Browsing this website, submitting the contact form, or purchasing a digital product does not create an investigator-client relationship. An engagement begins only when we have agreed in writing to accept a specific matter and any required retainer has been arranged. Information submitted before that point is handled confidentially but is not covered by any privilege.

Digital Products and License
When you purchase a digital publication from us, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use one copy for your own personal or internal professional use. You may not:

- Reproduce substantial portions in your own commercial products or training materials
- Remove or alter any copyright or attribution notices

Acceptable Use of Investigative Techniques
Our educational materials describe open-source intelligence techniques intended for lawful investigative work. You are solely responsible for ensuring that anything you do with this information complies with all applicable federal, state, and local law. You may not use it to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully surveil any person, or in violation of any anti-stalking, computer fraud, wiretapping, or data protection law.
Private investigation is a regulated profession in Florida and in most other states. Conducting investigative work for compensation without the required license may be a criminal offense. Purchasing an educational publication from us does not license you to perform investigative services.
Background Checks Are Not Consumer Reports
Investigative services we provide are not "consumer reports" as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and we are not a consumer reporting agency. Information we supply may not be used, in whole or in part, as a factor in establishing eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, tenancy, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. If you need an FCRA-compliant report, you must obtain it from a consumer reporting agency.
Payment
Digital products are sold at the price displayed at checkout, in U.S. dollars, and are processed by Stripe. Refund and delivery terms are set out in our Refund & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Third-Party Services
This site relies on third-party services including Stripe for payments and Google Analytics for measurement. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and our digital products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information will be complete, accurate, or current.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Panhandle Investigative Solutions, LLC and its members, officers, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of this website or our digital products. Our total aggregate liability arising from a digital product shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Liability arising from investigative services performed under a signed engagement is governed by that engagement agreement.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Panhandle Investigative Solutions, LLC from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your misuse of this website, your breach of these Terms, or your unlawful use of information or techniques obtained from our materials.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
